San Diego River Trail
SD Trail Reports
Neighborhood photo reports documenting public safety and sanitation conditions along the San Diego River Trail Bikeway.
About
This site is maintained by residents who live near the San Diego River Trail Bikeway, in the section that runs from the eastbound I-8 on-ramp toward Dog Beach and Ocean Beach.
We regularly ride the trail and document conditions that affect public safety, sanitation, and the use of public spaces by families and neighbors. The reports are shared with the City of San Diego and the San Diego Police Department so the documented locations can be inspected and addressed.
What the reports contain
- Geotagged photographs taken along the trail
- An interactive map showing where each photo was taken
- The date and time of each observation
- A PDF version for easy sharing and record-keeping
Accessing reports
Each report is published at its own link, which is shared directly with the relevant city departments. Reports are not listed publicly on this page.
Report an issue to the City
If you see an encampment, illegal dumping, or a sanitation problem in the area, you can report it directly to the City of San Diego through the official Get It Done app or website. Each report receives a case number you can use to follow up.
